DREAM featherweight champion, Bibiano Fernandes is set to put his title on the line against former lightweight champion, Joachim Hansen at DREAM 13 on March 22nd in Japan.
The promotion officially announced the fight today, meaning bout agreements have been signed and returned.
Hansen was last seen in action in October at DREAM 11, losing the rubber match with Shinya Aoki and subsequently the 155 pound title. Prior to that he had defeated Aoki with a barrage of punches but injury sidelined him for sixteen months.
The same night at DREAM 11 Fernandes was crowned 145 pound champion of DREAM, defeating both Joe Warren, via submission and Hiroyuki Takaya, via split decision to capture the gold. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this one as we get it.
