The UFC apparently plans to go head to head With SF April 17th card. Rumored fights were Swick and Serra which swick squashed on twitter. Also rumored was Toney v.s. Kimbo\Couture Still not confirmed nor denied. Not only was it rumored that the UFC was going to counter but also Hold their Event In Nashville at the Vanderbilt University Mermorial Gymnasium. A source confirmed Within SF That should the UFC Do this they could move there event to the 24th and go head to head with WEC's First PPV. I am giving SF no more than another year and It will be owned by Zuffa. |

what are you talking about, the Fertitta's already bankrupted the Station Casinos. It may be a year when their loan repayment comes due before the UFC is in chapter 11. Don't be so sure, Strikeforce is being run by someone who understands to keep it lean. |

The Strikeforce card is solid. This was a bad move for the UFC...i often get PPV...but there is 0 reason for me to get it. I want to see Moussassi put Mo in his place, Hendo become the king and Aoki break and arm. THose are legit fights....seeing Toney v Kimbo...is frankly the type of freakshow that Dana use to talk bad about and the type of fight EliteXC or ironically Strikeforce would put on. |

The UFC and Station Casino's have nothing more in common than the Fertitta's they are unrelated businesses and the UFC is a multi billion dollar company if the UFC was in trouble over loans because of another business they would have been paid off already. The UFC will have more than one fight also. Just look at their show to compete with Affliction putting Anderson as well as other established fighters on. Right now it seems to be all hearsay. |

Also Strikeforce likely won't move to compete with the WEC PPV because Showtime is putting on a boxing show the same night and as most people know Showtime is owned by CBS and wouldn't want to lose even more viewers competing with WEC and Strikeforce. At this point take what they can get sure UFC will counter program as usual but still not worth competing against their own show. |

Mav, How the fuck Is Kimbo v.s. Toney a freakshow???? Kimbo is still breaking into the lifestyle of a mixed martial artist. Toney is trying to do the same thing. Neither guy is elite but they will match up against each other pretty well.
Choi v.s. Canseco= freakshow
Ken Shamrock v.s. Ross Clifton = Freakshow
I guess it really doesnt matter who they match him up against you would probably call It a freakshow. Just out of curiosity who should a man fight in his first MMA fight.

I thought u meant like champ vs. champ. Brock or Mir vs. Fedor (either way i say Fedor looses, even Cain would take him) At 205 Moussasi would probably loose to Rashad or Rampage, let alone Machida. As far as Anderson Silva, He'd probably beat Hendo again, he always wins lol, and GSP would spank any W.W.s outside UFC, and BJ would kill Aoki, same ground skills but way better boxed and slick ass take down defense. Any thoughts? |
